Advent of mobile technology has disrupted the industry across the spectrum. That is where we see the biggest change where customers are seeing a lot of value in terms of how to reach the end customers and get level of data that they need, especially the accurate information that they are looking at with a clear understanding of return on investment.

Did you launch any new solution at EXCON 2017?

In the last two editions, we showcased unique point solutions addressing areas like field sales, warranty, MARC and Remanufacturing. Feedbacks from EXCON and our subsequent interactions with prospects helped us to understand that customers would like to engage a partner who can work with them in adopting newer technologies and realign their systems and processes and over a period of time transfer the operations once the required changes are addressed and stabilised. In this edition, Quest Informatics is therefore launching its comprehensive engagement model: Build Operate and Transfer (BOT).

What are the benefits of BOT?

With BOT, clients not only benefit from outcome based change management owned and directed by Quest, but also enjoy lower Total cost of Ownership (TCO) benefits. With BOT engagement model, customer can continue to focus on their business growth, while Quest manages the operations. BOT engagement involves an as-is audit, process redesign, solution deployment, maintenance, continuous improvements, governance structures and transfer stages. Quest uses its deep domain expertise, industry best-practices and knowledge of cutting edge technologies like Cloud, Mobility, analytics, IoT and blend right services and solutions to comprehensively manage client operations. We can stich a customized BOT solution that covers before market, go-to-market and aftermarket operations.

We can offer BOT engagement for aftermarket areas like warranty management, MARC, field service management, dealer management, loyalty and campaigns and remanufacturing. Quest can also offer BOT model for specific areas including order-to-delivery management, temple administration, enterprise engineering service administration, and other areas.

What will be the target markets?

Having major global manufacturers on board, we are targeting the entire aftermarket ecosystem in the Indian Subcontinent. Our international target markets include all leading major brands from the European continent like Germany, Finland and Sweden. We would also like to understand and serve aftermarket operations from China, Japan, Singapore, US and Middle-East markets.

What you wish to accomplish as you launch this new product?

Our newly launched products are aiming at reducing the TCO for any customer. Reducing the ownership cost involves various aspects and Quest Informatics aimed as a one-stop-solution offering a complete set of software solutions and services. By implementing the BOT model, we would like to become the trusted partner for mobility and web applications. We are aiming at implementing BOT as a preferred the service model for MSMEs and large corporations.

What are the other new announcements you made at EXCON 2017?

With the evolution of smartphones on the rise, we would be launching many mobile applications for different processes. We would like to integrate the business system with IoT. We strongly believe that enabling these services would help major manufacturers anticipate the equipment failure well before time, further enhancing the operational efficiency of our customers.

We have also introduced added capability on Before Market through BrassiCAE Technologies, thus providing customer one-stop-shop for all services right from Before Market to Aftermarket.
