Ispat Infrastructure has been bringing the latest product and technologies in India following the newest trends in developed economies. The company participated in the recently held bauma CONEXPO INDIA (bC India) 2018.

“We have been participating from the very first bauma since 2010 till date. While we have always had three-four stalls in each of the exhibition in 2018, we had our stall with Geda Germany to create awareness of the latest hoist SBL 2000, which comes with lot of added features best in local and international market as on date and are comparable to none,” says Kapil R. Ghai, Chairman & Managing Director, Ispat Infrastructure India Ltd.

Some of the features are – remote access, PLC floor selection system, auto fault finder, hour meter, strong and robust design, high corrosion protection standard, maintenance-friendly design, Inverter I VFD, fingerprint access compact drive unit design.

The company has been one step ahead in offering latest technologies from Germany and cost effective solutions from China as per European standards, believes Ghai.

Being specialist in vertical logistics and reinforcement solutions, the company has an advantage to be in leadership position. Considering we offer equipment on outright sales, there are options for long-term payment, buyback, hiring and also offering second hand equipment and at times, project- based solutions backed with operation and maintenance.

“Over the years, we have experienced a big market shift from manual activities to atomisation and considering that we mainly cater to mega projects and blue chip clients there is always an appetite for the latest technology with added safety features,” he says.

The year 2018 was good considering RERA act in the housing sector that buoyed demand in rentals and sales of construction hoist.

“We have added close to 50 new equipment in our rental fleet, a few of them being Geda. While our outlook for 2019 is not so positive, we are comfortably poised with the existing market share and tend to grow 15-20 per cent year on year. Additionally, we assure that work is going on for future market and realistic market would pick up by 2020-21,” he added.
