Volvo Group contributes to Chief Minister Relief Fund for flood rehabilitation activities in Karnataka

Several districts in Karnataka were ravaged by floods in August 2019 following heavy and incessant rains. Many talukas in Karnataka were hit by heavy rainfall, which resulted in loss of many lives, and damaged crops and properties worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore.
Government has been carrying out rehabilitation and reconstruction work. To support these endeavours,
Kamal Bali,Managing Director of Volvo Group in India, donated Rs 75 lakh to the CM Relief Fund Natural
Calamity and handover the DD to Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa for the continued relief and rehabilitation the affected areas of the state. Present with Kamal Bali were GV Rao, Director,Corporate Social Responsibility and Paul Abraham, Head External Communication.
