SDLG named in Asia’s Top 500 brands

SDLG has been named in Asia’s Top 500 Brands – ranking 86th among Asia’s elite, in the listing compiled by one of the region’s most coveted brand benchmarking award programmes.

At this year’s awards, hosted in Hong Kong on 9th September, SDLG received recognition for its corporate leadership and brand competitiveness, ranking 86th among the Top 500. This accolade follows recognition among the China Top 50 CE manufacturers, earlier this year.

With a strong foothold in mainland China and rapid expansion into overseas markets, SDLG’s products are known for their reliability, durability and ease of servicing. The company is one of China’s largest exporters of wheel loaders and it also produces a range of excavators, road machinery and other construction equipment in its two state-of-art facilities, in Linyi, China, and Pedeneiras, Brazil.

Yu Mengsheng, Executive President, SDLG who received the award, says, “It’s a huge honour for us to receive recognition from the region’s most prestigious awards programme, especially when the whole construction industry has been experiencing some of the most difficult conditions in many years.”

Since 2009, channel development together with aftermarket service and product innovation has been the three cornerstones of SDLG’s globalisation strategy. Currently SDLG sales and service are available in over 60 markets including Brazil, Russia, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. It has become one of the three major construction machinery exporters from China and excelling in wheel loader manufacturing and exports.
