SCC brings construction chemicals players together

SCC a unique seminar covering right usage of inputs in the field of construction chemicals held in Mumbai on 25th and 26th September. The international conference of suppliers to construction chemicals industry of India was a grand success and was attended by over 250 delegates.
Dr Rajan Venkatesh, Vice President, South Asia of BASF and Anand Gopaladesikan, Managing Director of Wacker Chemie India were key note speakers to kickstart the seminar.
Samir Surlaker, President of Construction Chemicals Manufacturers Association (CCMA) welcomed all and invited delegates to play an interactive role. Inaugural session exposed the audience as well as CCMA members to tremendous growth of construction chemicals industry in India over past three decades.
Nilotpol Kar, BASF set the tone for SCC by presenting technology and growth figures. SCC was addressed by over 10 international speakers from BASF, Sika, Wacker, Borregaard, Dow Corning, Apple Chemie, Kerneos, Denka, Calmetrix, Wagner, 20 Microns, Yasham, Domsjoe, etc. as well as experts from India.
Most important feature of SCC was sessions of two panel discussions viz, role of construction chemicals in smart city concept and does construction chemicals contribute to sustainability chaired by Arijit Basu, Sika India Pvt.Ltd., and Sunny Surlaker, MC-Bauchemie respectively. Mr Charles of Perma played key role in organising this event and leading to success.
The delegates were benefited by attached exhibition and excellent networking at lunches, dinners and cultural programmes. SCC was a grand success as per feedback from participants. Interaction was the key.
