JCB expects upward moment to continue

2016 has been a positive year for both – the industry and the company. Industry has been up by about 45 per cent so far.

Recovering from the decline
Shedding light on the performance of construction equipment industry, Jasmeet said, “2016 has been a positive year for the earthmoving and construction equipment industry. After a decline of four years at a stretch, the industry has shown growth in 2016. The Industry grew nearly 45 per cent in the period between January to August of 2016 as compared to the same time in 2015.”

Speaking about how the year 2016 was for the industry, Jasmeet said, “2016 has been a positive year for both, the industry and the company. Industry has been up by about 45 per cent so far. We, at JCB India have also grown at similar rate. This growth has been witnessed by us after four continuous years for industry downcycle. We are hopeful that this upward growth would continue in the near future before stabilising around 10-12 per cent annual growth.”

A year full of additions for JCB
Speaking about the company’s achievements during the year 2016, Jasmeet said, “We have started rolling out machines from our Jaipur facility. The JCB 30Plus (a 3-tonne Excavator) which is designed in India for India, is being manufactured at our Jaipur facility from July 2016.”

The new 22-tonne excavator, JCB220LC Xtra, is another addition in JCB India’s Tracked Excavator portfolio which has been designed to deliver world class productivity and efficiency while working in the toughest and most rugged terrains. These machines are known for their reliability and durability, productivity, efficiency and operator comfort.

This year, JCB 455ZX Wheeled Loader, the 5.5-tonne payload machine is another latest addition to our world-class range of Wheeled Loaders which are known for productivity, reliability and efficiency.
JCB India also introduced three new revolutionary products in the material handling space – the Made in India Telehandlers known as JCB Loadall, the Skid Steer Loaders, known as JCB Robot and the Super Loaders.

Bauma Conexpo India 2016
Bauma Conexpo 2016 presents an excellent platform to OEMs to present their latest technological innovations and products. JCB is extremely delighted to be a part of the exhibition and will present an interesting line up of it’s world class earthmoving, construction and material handling range. Visitors will experience machines exhibiting performance with world class design and quality during the event.

The recently launched JCB 30Plus, the 3-tonne Mini Excavator will be displayed for the first time during the show. The company’s Tracked Excavator portfolio and Road Compaction range will also have some exciting additions in the range.

JCB will also exhibit the latest 5.5-tonne payload Wheeled Loader known as the JCB 455ZX. This new machine has already gained popularity in the market.  The Made in India range of Telehandlers, Skid Steer Loaders and Super Loaders will also be showcased.
