Special impetus by the government on infrastructure projects will help boost morale even further for the construction industry as a whole.

Sunny Surlaker, Head Admixtures Division, Mc-Bauchemie (I) Pvt Ltd

Sunny Surlaker, Head Admixtures Division, Mc-Bauchemie (I) Pvt Ltd expresses his views on how 2017 will turn out to be for the construction industry, shares his projections for the business and also speaks about the strategy that will be used to achieve the targets set.

Industry will progress satisfactorily
Sharing his thoughts on how the year 2017 will turn out to be for the industry, Sunny Surlaker, says, “The year so far has been quite good, with construction activity slowly but surely ramping up for progress. The demand for our specialty construction chemicals is an indication of the progress. With the demonetisation move, we may have to study the impact on the construction industry, but with current trends, we expect the industry to progress satisfactorily on targets. Special impetus by the government on infrastructure projects will help boost morale even further for the construction industry as a whole.”

Speaking about the projections for Mc-Bauchemi, Surlaker says, “The trends so far are positive, so we expect to meet targets and grow sustainably in the year ahead.”

Innovation, competence and service are the key
Sharing the company’s strategies in order to meet the set targets, Surlaker says, “In today’s fast changing world of technology, ‘Innovation’ is the key in staying ahead and fuelling growth of any organisation. We follow the same trend. MC-Bauchemie’s motto for years has been – innovation, competence and service. These three principles would be the cornerstone of our activities for the future and will propel our growth to the next level in the coming years.”

He further adds, “Looking at market factors, we believe with the advent of our Construction Chemicals Manufacturer’s Association, our industry is pushing forward the drive for awareness on ‘correct usage of construction chemicals’. Once this wave catches on, it would be a big boost in driving the growth of our industry and our company forward.”

Surlaker concludes, “We cater to the quality conscious segment of the market and not the price sensitive segment because we never let ourselves forget the MC-Bauchemie has a worldwide reputation to keep. Our customers keep coming back to us again and again translating to revenues from the technology conscious sector. This strategy helps us be part of the ever increasing highly technical and quality conscious segment of the market and helps us maintain a successful profile.”
