L&T Construction & Mining Machinery and Komatsu introduced the Komatsu PC35MR-3 Mini Hydraulic Excavator at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2024. The launch is a significant step towards offering cost-effective and sustainable solutions to the changing demands of the Indian construction industry, particularly in urban infrastructure and agricultural land development.
The PC35MR-3 combines power and compactness, making it ideal for accurate work in restricted locations. It is fuel-efficient, manoeuvrable, and adaptable, providing remarkable lifting and digging forces as well as superior reach capabilities. The wide-angle swing boom improves precision while excavating curves and edges and allows for straight-line digging for foundations and trenching.
PC35MR-3 increases productivity while lowering operational costs and greatly eliminating the requirement for physical work. Its minimal maintenance cost lowers the total cost of ownership. The machine is suited for a variety of purposes, including foundation and trench digging, demolition and utility installation, farming, and other agricultural uses. Its low noise and emission levels demonstrate L&T and Komatsu’s commitment to shaping a sustainable world.
Commenting on the launch, Arvind K Garg, Senior Vice President & Head of construction & mining Machinery Business at L&T, said: “With India’s swift urbanisation and infrastructure growth, the need for compact, versatile construction equipment is increasing. The Komatsu PC35MR-3 exemplifies L&T’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support sustainable development.”
