Abinash Mishra named as the CEO of Visaka Industries

Visaka Industries Limited gladly announces the appointment of Abinash Mishra as Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, beginning April 14, 2025. In this role, he will report to the Board of Directors.

Visaka Industries graduated from IIT Bombay and Olin Business School and has over 27 years of leadership experience in cement, building materials, and construction chemicals. He has held top leadership positions in Holcim India, Pidilite, JK White Cement, and ACC Cement, where he has constantly driven innovation, sustainability, and company transformation.

He will head Visaka’s strategic business verticals—Roofing Sheets, Vnext (cement fibre boards for drywall construction), ATUM (integrated solar roof), and ATUM Charge (green EV charging stations)—with a focus on green innovation, digital acceleration, and market leadership.

Mr Mishra is credited with pioneering several of India’s first product advancements in the building materials business, including his leadership of Dalmia Cement’s “Go Green” project, which transitioned institutional clients to blended cements and launched sand-free microsilica-based solutions.

He has a proven track record in manufacturing excellence, real-time cost engineering, and lean operations, assisting organisations in scaling up efficiently. His most recent creation, a Generative AI-powered demand generation model for the retail tertiary channel, is being heralded as a category-defining advancement that will alter industry engagement and performance.

Mr Mishra also works on several national technical committees, where he helps create India’s sustainable building material standards and policies. Visaka’s hiring is a significant step towards its aim of becoming a future-ready, innovative, and sustainability-focused firm.
