Ajax Engineering delivers Next-Gen 360° concreting solutions

Sharing insights about the company’s 360-degree concrete solution products, Deepak Vadehra, Regional Head, West and Central India, Ajax Engineering Pvt. Ltd., talks about the company’s initiatives.

Can you talk about your recent innovations?
“Focus on innovation and Indigenisation is a way of life at AJAX. We are the leaders in SLCM where we offer products from 1.0 cubic meters to 4.8 cubic meters. We at AJAX developed a patented load cell technology which ensured homogeneous concrete as the right quantity of aggregates are weighed by the system and resulted in the better saving of Cement. The load cell weighing system developed by AJAX is complying with IS 4925:2004 accuracy regulations.

The Self-propelled boom pump which is the first of Its kind in the industry is built on AJAX’s own chassis with 4×4 transmission, three-way steering, a lightweight compact design, and a fuel-efficient engine. The 25m Boom Pump mounted on this chassis has a revolutionary design to utilise the full boom length to reach unreachable spaces in less accessible areas and deliver concrete effectively. The smaller tight turning radius of 5.5 m is the major differentiator between the conventional boom pumps as it enables better manoeuvrability at confined site conditions. The SPBP is available in 15-meter and 25-meter ranges. AJAX has indigenously developed slip-form paver SPX1204, the first indigenous paver designed and manufactured in India has been incorporated with high-quality components and  features on par with any of the pavers offered by the global players. This paver has the flexibility to offer paving width  varying from 3.5 m to 12 m.

What are the latest trends in your industry?
Over the last three decades, the need for energy efficiency, higher productivity, easy mobility, and flexibility has been our focus to meet growing customer needs. Increasing urbanisation, high-rise residential and commercial buildings, modern industrial infrastructure, and nationwide rural development programs have resulted in demand for a range of concrete solutions thus leading to stiff competition among the players to offer value to the customer through innovative products and solutions.
