According to Avinash Bhartia, Director, Bhartia Infra Projects Ltd (BIPL), who is also a customer of Ammann India, compaction in reduced number of passes is resulting in overall savings in the cost of fuel.
“BIPL is able to achieve the compaction in fewer passes, ‘which is resulting in overall savings in diesel or fuel cost,” Bhartia said in a letter of satisfaction to the Ammann Apollo team.
“Our operator is also very comfortable driving the ARS 121 Soil Compactor as there is no vibration felt on the operator seat, resulting in less operator fatigue,” Bhartia said.
Hence, the operator can use the compactor for longer periods and the machine also has excellent traction in climbing gradients owing to the direct-drive concept on the wheels, according to him.
“We are very grateful to Ammann Apollo for their excellent after-market support. BIPL has a very positive view of the machine. Our site persons are very satisfied with the overall performance of the Ammann ARS 121 Soil Compactor,” Bhartia was quoted as saying in the letter.
