Apollo Inffratech inaugurates production facility of new JV

Apollo Inffratech Group kicked off its 10th anniversary celebration with the inauguration ceremony of its new production facility of newly-formed joint venture (JV) with Germany’s Zenith Concrete Block Making Machinery. The ceremony was presided over by the Group Chairman Ajit Patel, and Group MD Mitul Patel.

Nitin Patel in his inaugural address congratulated Apollo and its management for taking forward the ‘Make in India’ vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also acknowledged the fact that Apollo Inffratech Group has been bringing in quality concrete technologies to India.

He also gave assurance of proactive government policies on infrastructure and same support and conducive policies from state as well as central governments so that India can fulfill the dream of our dynamic Prime Minister of developing world-class infrastructure in the country.

Group MD Mitul Patel said, “Established in 2008, Apollo successfully launched concrete batching plants, transit mixers and fixed form pavers. But then, we saw tremendous opportunities in concrete pipe market and entered into JV with over a hundred years old Pipe making machinery maker, HawkeyPedershaab of USA, and started manufacturing the machines here in India.”

Within two years, the company once again saw huge untapped market of self-loading concrete mixers and established JV with world renowned Metagalante of Italy and began manufacturing CARMIX mixers in its factory near Ahmedabad, he said.

The concrete solutions provider also has an exclusive technical alliance with USA’s HEM Slip Form Pavers. And now, the company has
again created new entity called ApolloZenith Concrete Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Patel added.

Group Chairman Ajit Patel also added that today hundreds of Apollo installations are working successfully in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and in African as well as Middle Eastern countries; helping build world-class infrastructure. Apollo, in its 10-year journey, has earned respect of innumerable customers which is manifested in countless accolades it received.
