Wire mesh (Woven wire)
Ashar Locker offers an extensive range of market grade woven wire, in various materials. Woven wire is available in mild steel, galvanised mild steel and high tensile steel, brass and stainless steel (304 or 316 grades). Rolls of woven wire can be provided up to 30m in length and 2006mm in width.

Wire mesh (Wire ripple screen cloth)
The Wire ripple screen cloth is light but durable, with higher open area than woven wire. It is very active and increases throughput when compared with traditional woven wire screen cloths.

It is constructed from a combination of crimped wires (cross) held in place by locking wires. Once installed, they offer the benefits like: • Reduced pegging or blinding – increased efficiency and capacity• Lighter Screen cloth – easier manual handling and less potential for injury.

Wire mesh (Piano wire screen)
A piano wire screen (harp screen) is made up of single strands of straight highly tensioned wire, connected at either end of the screen with a sheet metal hook. Spacer strips sit over the top of the stringers to maintain correct aperture. This produces a long, uninterrupted slot between the stringers.

Benefits of the Piano Wire:
• Cross harps increase productivity. This results in more tones per hour for each square foot of screen area than any other screen surface
• Piano Wires make screening of sticky and damp materials possible where, screening with a woven product would be impossible• Allow screening at smaller apertures.

Rubber screening (Rubber cross tension)
Ashar Locker rubber tension screens are manufactured using 2 layers of quality wear resistant rubber with high tensile cord reinforcement between the layers.

Thinner cloths (3, 5, 7, 10 and 15mm thick) have single ply fabric reinforcement while 20, 25 and 35mm thick cloths have 2 layers. The fabric reinforcement allows for correct and constant tensioning of the cloth.

Polyurethene flip-flop matThese are also known as Flextec or jumping screens and are manufactured from wear resistant polyurethane. The non – blinding screen panel can be used in Flip-Flop type screen machines, e.g.Binder Bivitec and Hein Lehmann screen types. It offers benefits like long life, quality material and high efficiency screening.

• Various width, lengths and apertures (Width: 246mm and 327mm, Length: 3.2mm, 2.49mm, 1.9mm and 1.2mm)
• Various thicknesses (5mm and 10mm)

Poly ripple screencloth
Poly Ripple screencloths are well suited to today’s mining and quarrying operations. They are light but durable, combining the high open area of wire, with the wear resistance of polyurethane. Offering many advantages over conventional screencloths, they are light-weight and easy to install reducing down-time and increasing production and efficiency.

Features:
• Poly ripple’s are constructed from a combination of crimped wires held in place by means of abrasive resistant polyurethane
• A long lasting and highly efficient screencloth, they offer many advantages over conventional woven wire.
