bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024, North India’s largest construction trade expo, presented ground-breaking technology while encouraging innovation and collaboration to accelerate India’s infrastructure growth and sustainability, in line with the goal of Banayenge Viksit Bharat.
The seventh edition of bauma CONEXPO INDIA established a transformative precedent for India’s construction, mining, and infrastructure industries. This year’s edition, held from December 11 to 14, 2024, at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, marked a watershed moment in the country’s infrastructure development.
bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024, which spanned over 135,000 square metres of exposition area, presented ground-breaking technologies, attracting over 51,118 trade visitors from 83 countries. The trade expo hosted 6,298 meaningful buyer-seller meetings and showcased over 20,000 cutting-edge technologies and solutions, resulting in transformative improvements in India’s infrastructure sector. Bringing together 984 exhibitors, the trade fair established a dynamic platform for innovation, collaboration, and long-term growth, solidifying its position as North India’s largest construction trade expo. These figures highlight the event’s vital role in accelerating India’s infrastructure ambitions, which match the country’s goal of becoming a $5 trillion economy.
Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honourable Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, officially opened the trade show. He honoured the occasion by lighting a ceremonial lamp. In his inaugural address, he stated: “India is rapidly transforming into a global infrastructure powerhouse with large-scale projects worth ₹70 lakh crore already underway. To sustain this momentum, we must prioritise technological innovation, invest in research & development, and adopt sustainable fuels. The construction equipment industry, being the world’s third largest, has immense potential to expand exports and strengthen India’s manufacturing capabilities.
