Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, debuted the BharatBenz 3532CM mining tipper, the 2832CM mining tipper, and the 5532 Tip Trailer at Bauma CONEXPO 2023.
Other products on display at the exhibition included a more powerful 320 HP BSVI diesel powerplant, which offers the high wheel-end torque required to navigate rough, gradient mining routes. The vehicles have industry-leading body capacities, which will assist mining customers. The new BharatBenz 48-ton rigid tipper and 28-ton RMC were also on show during the expo.
BharatBenz provides a diverse selection of tipper products, ranging from 6-wheeler 13T medium-duty trucks to 22-wheeler 55T trucks (tip trailers). Surface construction, mining, irrigation/tunnelling, and intra-city distribution are just a few of the applications for these trucks. BharatBenz’s next-generation products are revolutionising the RMC (ready-mixed cement) sector with engine-driven PTO solutions that meet every concreting need.
“BharatBenz has demonstrated its dominance in the heavy-duty truck segments, particularly in the construction and mining sectors,” Rajaram K, Vice President of BharatBenz Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service said. Our product line is intended to contribute to nation-building and has been instrumental in various infrastructure-related initiatives across India. In mining,
It offers the best fuel efficiency in its class and an uptime of more than 90 percent for the first five years of operation, thanks to very robust powertrains and aggregates. “We have helped our customers finish over 145 mining projects on time or ahead of schedule, and we have 60 locations actively watched by our dealer partners. We are proud that the longest-running BharatBenz mining vehicle has more than 37,000 hours on the clock and is still going strong”, Rajaram adds. This category is expected to contribute to around 35 percent of the overall heavy-duty segment, and we are confident that our new BharatBenz tipper truck will revolutionise the mining industry.
They also debuted the “Simulated Driving Trainer (SDT),” a “one-stop” facility that comprises a truck simulator in the cab that simulates driving in a realistic manner, as well as software interfaces for driver training management and e-learning modules. SDT will develop a simulation for drivers to practise and evaluate mining and construction applications. SDT is intended to encourage them towards better driving practises that will result in greater performance, cost savings, and overall efficiency.
BharatBenz also has the 4828RT truck in its portfolio, which offers best-in-class fuel efficiency, increased productivity, easy manoeuvrability, and the signature “BharatBenz comfort.” DICV has brought several innovations to the 4828RT, including an intel lift, a single chamber headlamp with daytime running lights, and parabolic bogie suspension with bolsters in the rear. The 4828RT model can be used for surface construction like blue metal, coal, fly ash, sand, and other construction materials.
With highly durable powertrains and aggregates, it boasts the best-in-class fuel efficiency and an uptime of more than 90 percent for the first five years of operation. We have helped our customers finish over 145 mining projects on time or ahead of schedule, and we have 60 locations that are actively watched by our dealer partners. “We are pleased to showcase our new high-performance BSVI powertrains, which will revolutionise the industry with cutting-edge technology and unprecedented performance,” said Pradeep T, Vice President of Product Engineering at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. In our new range, BharatBenz cars will now include segment-leading innovations such as intel-lift, hill holds, parabolic bogie suspension with rear bolsters, and more. Our design philosophy prioritises safety.
