Safety products offered at Davesmen
Davesmen specialises in construction and mining equipment, as well as mining safety goods. We have three product verticals: tyre protection, safety goods, and lighting solutions. In India, we represent Brigade electronics by providing rear view cameras, proximity sensors, audio-visual alarms, ultrasonic sensors, and a variety of other goods. We created our own products such as Fatigue Monitoring Systems, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems, Seatbelt Reminder Auto Dipping Systems, Inclinometers, and many others. We have tyre production chain operations.
We have lighting solutions for HMM that function with 12 to 24 watts in the lighting section. We also represent Nordic lights from Finland with these lighting options.
Partnerships with OEMs
We have been actively servicing in India for the last 25 years, and we have served over 20 OEMs in that time. Davesmen has partnership with Komatsu, L&T, BEML Tata, Hitachi, Leeboy, and Schwing Stetter. We also provide a variety of OEMs with operations in India.
Impact of digitalisation on safety products
We are presently concentrating on the integration of safety elements. Separately, we were developing a video monitoring system and proximity sensors. We are now combining the camera monitoring system, proximity monitoring system, fatigue monitoring system, and digital video recorders into one. As a result, this is the true need that individuals are seeking for. So, over the previous year and a half, we have successfully completed trials for the proximity sensor combined with the video monitoring system, 360 degree integration with the proximity sensors, and a combination of all of these with the fatigue monitoring system.
Safety Indian construction and mining sector
We’ve seen a variety of obstacles; sometimes they comprehend the issues, and sometimes they don’t. This has been observed in both mining and building. But now, things are beginning to shift. People are increasingly choosing fatigue monitoring systems, audiovisual alarms, and video monitoring systems. However, there is currently no proximity sensor awareness for under construction equipment in India.
Reliability and durability aspects
Our sensors have a vibration register. They are waterproof, dustproof, mudproof, and resistant to high pressure washing. We had a customer come in and inform us that he bought from us in 2014, therefore the cameras are still operating great after 7-8 years. So that is the standard we aim for in our products.
