What do you expect from bC India this edition?
The expo will be successful for both manufacturers and end users. There is a positive trend in all sectors of construction machinery industry in India that is here to stay which itself becomes the biggest success factor for this addition of the expo. Reflection of manufacturing capability in India with matched quality to the western manufacturers will be the show case to the world.
Are any new innovations going to be unveiled?
The trade fair will attract a large range of expert visitors from all four corners of the country and world wide. Ajashy has been using this platform to present innovative products from construction sector to interested visitors and customers. The most important aspect is personal contact and open exchange with the visitors. Understanding of their need and requirements in previous editions are conceptualised and effort to present them new innovative equipment is the ultimate goal. Main focus is on practical and cost effective solutions for process optimisation. In this edition, we are going to launch ready-to-use containerized workshop. With our container workshops, the complete set up is ready made to be installed at project site in less than a week’s time with all the required equipment, tools & tackles to be used and later to be shifted to the next project location without any loss of time or money. The expense to the project in conventional workshop gets changed to capital equipment with ease of use & erection.
What will encourage your customers to most prefer your equipment while buying?
The company is evolving from conventional equipment manufacturers to complete solution providers. This helps us in understanding the customer needs and develop superior response mechanism to their needs. We strategise to focus on customer needs instead of product push. Our continuous interaction with the customers drive our equipment design and features as per changing and evolving requirements. Thanks to Make in India, ease of operation, ease of service, ease of availability of parts makes our equipment a preferred buy.
How favourable are present market conditions for the segment?
Construction equipment sector is growing at 15-18 per cent with government investing heavily in infrastructure sector. The road sector will continue to be the main growth driver for the industry. The present government in its last year before the elections, will go full throttle on all the projects initiated. May be it is roads, highways, railways, smart cities, power, solar or any other sector. This gives a huge boost to the manufacturers to strengthen the production capabilities.
Almost 30-35 per cent of the project cost is spent towards the procurement of Plant and equipment which itself gives huge numbers to the construction industry considering the government’s approval of 83,000-km of highway projects of over 6 lakh crore. All the numbers & indicators give the positive sentiments to the industry giving the steady growth to the business. There is hope that more reforms would follow in other sectors too boosting construction activity and in turn equipment sales.
There is a positive trend in all sectors of construction machinery industry in India that is here to stay.
