Dalmia Bharat strengthens eastern market with Rohtas Plant expansion

Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL) achieved its FY25 target of 49.5 MTPA by expanding Rohtas Cement Works in Bihar, boosting capacity to 1.6 MTPA and strengthening its market position and long-term growth strategy.
Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL), India’s top cement firm, has met its FY25 target of 49.5 MTPA with the start of commercial production of an extra 0.5 MTPA at its Rohtas Cement Works (RCW) plant in Bihar on March 30, 2025. The investment of ₹96 crores at the integrated unit expands the plant’s capacity to 1.6 MTPA. The activation of Line 2 demonstrates DBL’s commitment to expanding its market position in the Eastern area and corresponds with its long-term goal of increasing capacity to 110-130 MTPA by 2031.
