Doka collaborates with Dubai’s Binghatti to provide sophisticated formwork solutions for four famous architectural projects, assuring precision, safety, and efficiency while building groundbreaking developments that will redefine Dubai’s skyline.
Doka, a global leader in formwork and scaffolding, has announced a partnership with the prominent Dubai-based real estate developer Binghatti to build several ground-breaking architectural projects in Dubai. Doka will supply formwork and scaffolding solutions for four new iconic building projects, which, if completed, will reflect the best in contemporary architecture and add to Dubai’s skyline. Binghatti has chosen Doka as its primary formwork supplier to provide cutting-edge construction technology for the multidimensional, visionary architectural design, which includes physics-defying shapes, astounding heights, and cutting-edge building elements.
The new developments include the “Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences,” which will become the flagship location of luxury horologist brand Jacob & Co and feature a design inspired by the intricacy of the watchmaker; “One by Binghatti,” a sophisticated waterfront premium apartment complex with access to world-class dining, shopping and entertainment; and “Mercedes-Benz Places by Binghatti,” which, in collaboration with the German car manufacturer, offers exclusive apartments, Because of the unique design, eye-catching geometries, and daring heights, each project requires special building expertise.
Innovative formwork solutions for iconic designs
To securely achieve the needed design, Doka employs a combination of products and services to boost jobsite efficiency, shorten construction periods, optimise construction budgets, and, above all, keep workers safe. Selected Doka products include crane-independent SKE50plus and SCP400 automatic climbing formwork systems, as well as Xclimb 60 protection screens with integrated loading platforms for safe working environments. Dokadek 30 panel floor formwork, which is simple and quick to install, Dokaflex 20 tables, which can be readily relocated to different heights, and the Frami Xlife framed wall formwork system round out the formwork concepts used on these projects.
Sarah Binghatti, Chief Procurement Officer at Binghatti Properties, comments, “At Binghatti, every project is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation. Collaborating with Doka allows us to bring our bold architectural visions to life with unmatched precision and efficiency. Beyond the advanced technology and safety standards, it’s the shared dedication to pushing boundaries that makes this partnership truly remarkable. With Doka as our trusted partner, we are confident in delivering groundbreaking projects that will redefine Dubai’s skyline and set new industry benchmarks.”
Doka is already providing products, services, and technical consulting to help optimise formwork and scaffolding solutions throughout the early stages of each project. The seamless integration of Doka materials and sophisticated engineering skills enables slab formwork, façade installation, and the establishment of safe and secure working environments, guaranteeing that customised solutions are delivered on time and under budget.
