Dow Corning, one of the global leaders in innovative silicon-based technologies, has set up a new application development centre in India to serve the growing demand for silicone materials and services in the region. This centre enables state-of-the art local support for Dow Corning’s global innovation and sustainability initiatives, as well as closer collaboration with customers to provide solutions customised for the region.
“The application development centre provides a platform for application development as well as technical support and expertise. It is staffed by scientists and engineers who work closely with the sales and marketing professionals to more effectively collaborate with customers and meet their needs. Peter Cartwright, Dow Corning’s Regional President for India, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa added, “Dow Corning’s new application development centre in India, along with our India office and distribution centre, enables us to take better advantage of the growth opportunities in the India silicone market. We continue to be committed to the region and our customers, and to develop more advanced and sustainable solutions that help us positively impact quality of life for all.”
