Efficiency in quarrying with on-site crushing and screening
.

Crushing old habits is undoubtedly a daring step, and doing so by upgrading the machines in your fleet with MB Crusher equipment increases efficiency, speed, and profitability.

Aggregates are the most commonly used construction material; they serve as the foundation for the development of roads and infrastructure, as well as a key component of asphalt pavements and concrete.  This is why MB Crusher can help any construction company that relies on aggregates save money and complete projects on time.

(UNUSUAL) GUIDE TO THE CHANGE

As urbanisation and infrastructure development continue, the demand for aggregates grows, highlighting the challenge of supply and high manufacturing costs.  MB Crusher equipment is essential for producing high-quality aggregates at a lower cost per tonne.

Here’s how:

Lower production costs at extraction sites

Once piled, the overloaded materials resulting from quarry preparation can occupy huge areas, potentially limiting quarry operations.  Moving these massive stockpiles requires the transportation of thousands of cubic metres of material at exorbitant expense.

Some have found a solution by adding an MB-S23 screening bucket with a 10 x 10 cm grid basket on the Hitachi Zaxis 460 LCH excavator that is already working in the quarry. As a result, the customer acquired two types of material: one with dimensions bigger than 10 cm, which was retained in the basket and placed directly into the dumper before being transferred to the crusher plant to continue the processing process. While material with dimensions smaller than 10 cm is utilised for filling and embankment construction, it does not incur additional disposal charges.

As a result, an expensive procedure has been transformed into an activity that has boosted profit margins: the client now saves on the price of removing the overburden and has inert material for his plant and the option to resell the excess.

As they say, from waste to profit! https://vimeo.com/344298987

Often we do not realise that we are sitting on a pile of money. We are talking about extraction and production waste, which is stockpiles to take up space, unused. Instead, it can be transformed into quality material, ready to be reused or resold with the MB Crusher bucket. To sum it up, nothing is thrown away: by giving value to the stockpile already available, costs are therefore reduced. As did a company in southern Italy, which had a big problem with the waste of stone material, which continuously required significant transport, disposal and treatment costs. So they decided to “change course” and crush the garbage using a crusher bucket on his 9-ton JCB 4CX backhoe, producing sellable inert material for substrate installation. https://vimeo.com/872561547

Secondary Quality Aggregate
The raw resources used in construction are finite; thus, employing “secondary aggregates” – such as rubble from the demolition and reconstruction of old buildings – is a smart habit that pays off. These products were previously deemed garbage, resulting in high landfill fees. They have now been treated so that they can be reused.  It is made easier by utilising the heavy machinery that is already on-site.

As in the demolition of an ancient grain deposit, the steel contained within the reinforced concrete was collected and resold, while the overburden material was utilised as a road substrate.  How?  With an existing excavator equipped with a BF90.3 crusher bucket. https://vimeo.com/932431804

MB Crusher machines are designed for diverse use in recycling plants, quarries, landfills, and on construction sites, and they provide a solution for aggregate production on their own.
