Fronius India Private Limited is pleased to announce the grand opening of another Fronius Innovation and Skill Centre at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, on 18th Nov 2022.

Fronius India and Silver Oak University jointly envision bringing a significant change, skill enhancement, and increasing students’ practical knowledge along with academics, enhancing their employability. This big dream came true with the continuous and collaborative efforts of the teams of Fronius India and Silver Oak University.

The facility’s inauguration was graced by esteemed guests like Mr. Nilesh Desai, Director, Space Applications Centre (SAC/ISRO) Ahmedabad, along with Mr. Deepak Acharya, Chief Operations Officer, INOX India, also the President of IIW, India, and by Smt. Poonam Agarwal, Vice Chairperson, Silver Oak University, Shri Janak Khandwala, Vice President, Silver Oak University, Dr. Saurin Shah, Vice-Chancellor, Silver Oak University; Dr. Pina Bhatt, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Silver Oak University, and other members of the University. It was a delightful moment to watch our values take shape, when Innovation and Creativity will add value to the next generation of engineers and make them prominent personnel in the department of engineering, robotics, and mainly “welding.” During the event, Shri Nilesh Desai spoke about the boom in the welding industry and the importance of a skill development centre in the future, and his words were supported by Mr. Deepak Acharya, who added the importance of welding and its growth in the future. It was a joy for our partners and customers to see this dream come true. They also shared their valuable appreciation for the state-of-the-art setup of the Fronius Innovation and Skill Centre, Ahmedabad.

The innovation and skill centre in Ahmedabad is well equipped with manual welding stations, a robotic booth, a fully operational repair centre, a virtual welding station, meeting rooms furnished with plasma, and all the necessary arrangements for comfortable meetings. A exclusive training room is available for the training and events. In addition to the welding setup, the Center has an opulent corporate working space of over 900 square feet that is linked to our headquarters via the internet for data visibility and transfer.
