Gates announces integration of fluid power and power transmission

Gates India, the advanced and world-class hose and tube assembly manufacturer, has conducted 2-day meet in Chennai on 3rd and 4th January to announce the integration of fluid power and power transmission operations. The commercial and operation teams from all plant locations participated in strength at the venue.
Rajesh C. Bhandari, Managing Director, India shared growth vision 2020 roadmap with seven strategic initiatives covering different end markets. He said, “The high-performing team is well positioned to convert the opportunity pipeline and double the business by the end of the decade.” A lot of exchange of new ideas was exchanged in the light of the new emerging circumstances.
The second day, Mr. RicGoh, HR Director, Gates East Asia conducted ‘One India’ team building exercise for leadership team.
V. Sundar, who has been the Managing Director for Gates Unitta India for the last 10 years, is promoted to the position of Director, Global Product Line Management – Power Transmission Products. He joins the Global PLM team and will be responsible for PT business for the automotive and industrial markets for East Asia and India.
“The meet ended with resolve to work for the pre-eminence of Gates India and provide the best solutions to the customers in various segments of automotive, construction, process and transportation markets,” the company said.
