Gates India organised Annual Sales & Distributors Conference on 23rd – 26th March at Pattaya, Thailand to strengthen its bonds with business partners and show its appreciation for the efforts made by its channel partners in jointly serving the customers.

This was first ever conference held under the umbrella of “One India Gates” with Power Transmission and Fluid Power commercial team and distributors coming together for this annual event.

During the sales conference on the first day, Gates business managers and application engineers shared the success of 2016, current opportunities, objectives for 2017 and roadmap to reach the goals for 2020.This was followed by the distributor conference on second day.

Gates 33 top performing distributors across India were invited for the event. T.S. Khoo, President East Asia and India, Gates shared the Vision 2020 and Miyamoto Shuji-san, Representative Director Gates Unitta Asia Company from Japan, delved on the years of successful Industrial business at Japan, to be emulated in the region. Rajesh C. Bhandari, M.D., Gates India shared the specific objectives for 2017 and articulated the goal of $150 million by 2020 in India. Distributors actively participated in the break out session, sharing their valuable feedback on specific initiatives. Top performing associates and distributors were rewarded by the leadership.
