Infinity Expo successfully concluded the 3rd edition of Global Logistics Show, a three-day Supply Chain & Logistics show from 22nd -24th February in Mumbai. The show brought together internationally renowned exhibitors, consultants, business experts and key government officials under one common platform, to discuss global best practice in developing stronger end to end supply chains.

The event witnessed participation from 95 exhibitors from sector leading brands like Godrej MHE, Linde, Hyundai, Kompress, Embee Software, Mahindra Logistics, Delivery, Zoho, Loconav, Ehrhardt + Partner Group, Ramco etc and was attended by 3765 visitors representing organisations like Amazon, Flipkart, Johnson & Johnson, FedEx, Aditya Birla, Chai Point, Liberty Shoes, Maersk Line, Schenker, TVS Motors, Maruti Suzuki etc. Two focussed conferences ran concurrently one focusing on supply chain management and the second more specifically on pharma supply chains. Over 85 speakers shared insights emerging from their extensive experience of many years with a delegate pool of over 250 professionals discussing and debating on topics ranging from supply chain innovation, supply chain alignment, logistics fuel cost reduction, process improvement, managing supply chain risk, preservation of pharma products in cold storage etc. The speakers through solo expert talks, panel discussions, case studies shared how they had turned around their supply chains setting up an information sharing and development agenda for the sector.

Global Logistics Excellence Awards in the second edition brought to the forefront exemplary case studies of professionals and enterprises who were breaking the boundaries, stretching their limits, innovating and excelling in ensuring secure high visibility, risk proof supply chains for their organisations which were not only lean but also helped reduce procurement costs. The awards received 265 nominations this year which were rigorously tested by an eminent Jury and the awards knowledge partners Tata Strategic Management. The evening culminated with 85 winners from organisations like Godrej Consumer Products, Adani Wilmar, Jubilant Food Works, Big Basket, ITC, CEAT Tyres, Pantaloons, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Bayer Zydus Pharma, Wockhardt, Cipla, Firstcry.com, Flipkart, DHL Express India, Mahindra Logistics to name a few.
