Government agencies tap CRI Solar for clean energy irrigation across Agrarian India

CRI Solar has received orders worth ₹210 crore from MEDA, HAREDA, and PEDA to install 6,894 solar pumping systems, promoting sustainable irrigation and clean energy usage in India’s agricultural districts.
CRI Solar, a division of CRI Pumps and a frontrunner in renewable energy-driven water solutions, has secured significant orders from Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), and Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 6,894 solar pumping systems, totalling ₹210 crores.
These significant orders show a concerted attempt to develop long-term irrigation infrastructure throughout India’s agricultural heartland. These collaborations highlight CRI’s growing role in assisting both central and state governments in achieving their renewable energy and agricultural production objectives.
Project deployment will begin in accordance with the respective agency schedules, with CRI Solar using its significant experience executing large-scale solar water pumping projects with precision and quality assurance.
