Poly Urethane Coatings

White tank Crystalline admix System
Crystalline waterproofingadmix is added to the concrete mix at the time of batching. Crystalline Admix consists of Portland cement, veryfine treated silica sand and various active, proprietary chemicals. These active chemicals react with the moisturein fresh concrete with the by-products of cement hydration to cause a catalytic reaction, which generatesa non-soluble crystalline formation throughout the poresand capillary tracts of the concrete. Thus the concrete becomes permanently sealed against the crystalline ofwater or liquids from any direction. The concrete is also protected from deterioration due to harsh environmental conditions.

Elastomeric Acrylic Coatings
Acrylic surface coatings are the leading finishes used in the exposed waterproofing and damp proofing applications, having surpassed alkyd finishes over the past few years. Based on acrylic and/or methacrylic polymers or copolymers, acrylic surface coatings are noted for their inertness and excellent colour retention when exposed to outdoor conditions. Acrylics are one of the fastest-growing sectors in the waterproofing industry. Acrylic polymers can be formulated to be tough and hard, and also very flexible. They are tolerant of movement at low temperature and very elastic in their behaviour.

Bituminous Membrane
HW&CC offers a range of polyester reinforced, APP&SBS modified bitumen membranes, insulation boards and vapour control layers which are applied using traditional methods – either torch-on or pour and roll. The SBS modification adds flexibility, application strength and durability to the membranes. Bitumen flat roof systems are ideal for both new build or refurbishment projects.

PVC Membrane
PVC membrane is a cost-effective alternative to traditional waterproofing systems and can be produced in a multitude of colours to coordinate with individual commercial building project needs. When produced in bright white, this flexible fabric membrane reduces radiant heat gain, keeping interior temperatures cooler during warmer weather conditions.
