How oil-free and electric lifts are reducing environmental impact
.

Mtandt Group improves equipment durability, decreases environmental effects, and assures that infrastructure projects are resilient and adaptable to future problems by combining telematics, artificial intelligence, and eco-friendly technologies.

What cutting-edge technologies has your company integrated to enhance the resilience and durability of infrastructure projects?
We’ve made tremendous progress in incorporating technologies that increase the robustness of our equipment and fulfil the growing demand for sustainability. One of our significant developments is using telematics technology in our Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs). These technologies enable real-time performance monitoring, allowing operators to make more informed decisions, avoiding wasted idling and increasing the equipment’s lifespan. Telematics is especially important in predictive maintenance since it spots potential difficulties early on, saves downtime, and ensures that our machines are always ready to operate in large-scale infrastructure projects.

How does your product minimise environmental impact while ensuring high performance in large-scale infrastructure projects?
Our product development strategy places a strong emphasis on sustainability. Many of our devices, including electric and hybrid boom lifts, are designed to reduce carbon emissions while maintaining performance. The energy efficiency of these devices results in lower fuel usage and greenhouse gas emissions. We’ve also concentrated on producing oil-free MEWPs, which remove the potential of hydraulic fluid leaks, resulting in a cleaner and safer work environment. Using energy-efficient technology and sustainable materials, we contribute towards better construction methods, allowing infrastructure projects to lower their environmental imprint while maintaining operating efficiency.

How does your company ensure your products are adaptable and future-proof amid rapid urbanisation?
Urbanisation presents a distinct set of issues, particularly regarding space limits and safety. To overcome this, we concentrated on creating tiny, highly efficient devices that can function in congested metropolitan areas. Our MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) are outfitted with sensors and smart controls, increasing safety and allowing for greater operational flexibility. Furthermore, we are using automation and AI-powered technologies in our equipment. By incorporating these qualities, we ensure that our products are future-proof and capable of adapting to the ever-changing requirements of urban infrastructure development.

What role do data analytics and real-time monitoring play in enhancing efficiency and extending the lifecycle of infrastructure projects?
Data analytics is becoming increasingly vital in monitoring and repairing our equipment. We can use our telematics systems to monitor real-time machine performance, identify possible issues before they become significant, and maximise fleet utilisation. Predictive maintenance, provided by this data, allows us to reduce unexpected breakdowns and increase the life of our goods. By examining this data, we can also give our customers insights into equipment usage trends, allowing them to improve operational efficiency and lower overall expenses.

Can you provide an example of a recent project where your equipment enhanced resilience against environmental or structural stresses?
One recent example that surges out is our participation in a large bridge maintenance project. We offered our Fast Beam adjustable scaffolding technology, specifically designed to address infrastructure difficulties during bridge construction. The technology allowed for speedy deployment, a high load capacity, and the ability to react to uneven surfaces—all critical to ensuring structural integrity throughout the project. Furthermore, the corrosion-resistant components we provided ensure that the scaffolding could withstand extreme climatic conditions, particularly during the monsoon season. This increased the project’s resiliency and contributed to its completion.

How is your company addressing ageing infrastructure challenges, and what innovative solutions do you offer to rejuvenate existing systems?
Ageing infrastructure is a major challenge, particularly in India, where many bridges, roads, and industrial buildings are several decades old. Our strategy is to provide solutions that work with current structures. For example, WEB Solutions’ suspended access scaffolding solutions are intended to provide safe and efficient access to difficult-to-reach regions, allowing maintenance and repairs on existing structures without compromising their functionality. These platforms’ versatility and adaptability make them excellent for rebuilding and strengthening ageing infrastructure, particularly in high-rise structures and large-scale industrial complexes.

What are your strategies for integrating sustainability into your product lifecycle in infrastructure development?
Sustainability is more than just a buzzword for us; it is a guiding element in our operations. From the start, we select materials that are either recyclable or have a low environmental impact. We use energy-efficient production processes to reduce waste and pollution. Furthermore, several of our products, such as PortaDeck and Aluminium Scaffolding, are entirely recyclable at the end of their lives, helping to promote a circular economy. We encourage our clients to embrace sustainable habits by providing buyback and recycling programs for outdated equipment.

How is your company adapting its R&D efforts to enhance resilience in response to evolving demands in construction and infrastructure?
Resilience is now a primary issue in the construction and infrastructure sectors, and at Mtandt, we’ve made significant R&D investments to keep ahead of developing demands. Our primary focus is on producing equipment that can endure environmental and structural strains while also increasing operational efficiency and safety. Smart technologies are a primary focus of our research and development efforts. We’re looking into advanced telemetry systems, AI, and machine learning for better predictive maintenance, allowing us to extend equipment lifecycles and optimise real-time performance.

We are also developing more durable materials and components to ensure our products can withstand harsh circumstances while remaining operationally efficient. In addition, we are investigating cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous operation and AI-driven systems to develop future-proof solutions that will meet the industry’s continually changing needs. Our commitment to constant innovation ensures we can fulfil today’s and tomorrow’s expanding infrastructure development demands with durable, adaptive, and sustainable equipment.
