Huaheng Welding Co Ltd, one of the leading engineering and integrated automatic welding and cutting solution providers in China, is setting up a manufacturing facility in Varodara GIDC, Gujarat.

Earlier, the company had set up its Indian subsidiary namely Huaheng Automation Pvt Ltd, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huaheng Welding Co. Ltd., China. Commenting on the company’s India plans and ‘Make in India’ initiative Xu Xujiong, President of Huaheng Group of Companies said, “India is a very important market for us and has tremendous opportunity for our offering. We have one stop solutions for welding and cutting industry and our local presence in India will make us more competitive.”

The state-of-the-art facility slated to be operational in coming March will assemble and manufacture welding solutions for Indian market. Talking about the new plant Zhao Kuangxian of Huaheng Automation Pvt Ltd said, “We are going to focus on assembling and manufacturing of our different products such as manual welding power source, CNC cutting machines, orbital welding solutions, mechanised welding solutions, robotic welding solutions, and intelligent warehouse logistic solutions. We are committed to provide high quality products and the most satisfied services to Indian customers and to facilitate improving Indian engineering and manufacturing industry”.

Huaheng Automation’s different range of offering includes robotic welding systems, semi automatic and mechanised welding systems, orbital welding systems and CNC cutting systems. The welding and cutting systems offered by the company are ideal for use in various industries such as engineering construction, locomotive, mining, defence, oil and gas, petrochemicals, boiler and heat exchanger, offshore, shipbuilding, nuclear energy, power generation, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, high pressure vessel, semiconductor, and dairy. The company also provides plant logistics, storage and warehouse automation solutions.

Increasing localisation
Huaheng has subsidiaries in USA, Malaysia, Brazil, Thailand and Singapore, and is exploring new markets in other Asian countries and Africa. The company is now increasing focus on localisation for Indian market. “We have delivered many automated systems to Indian customers. Now with our local presence and team we are going to be very near to customers and provide them better services. We are also looking to increase our team size in India,” informed Bhavin Dave, Business Head of the Indian subsidiary.
