Unitread offers a wide range of hydraulic quick couplings for a variety of application in mobile, industrial hydraulics.

Unitread couplings are OEM trusted with excellent performance and reliability at all conditions, handling working pressures up to 1000 bar. Applications ranges from construction equipment, tractors, hydraulic tools, jacks, test couplings and heavy industrial solutions like injection moulding, die castings and machine tools. The company has also successfully developed couplings for thermal cooling solutions for wind mills, computer cooling, railways, data centres, etc.

There are different types of couplings designed for different applications and most popular are Poppet type, Flat face, poppet Screw and Screw flat face.

Poppet type hydraulic couplings
Unitread quick coupling offers poppet type hydraulic coupling made of steel and used in construction equipment, agriculture machinery, forestry, oil tools, steel mill machinery and other hydraulic applications.

The poppet valves featured in the coupling prevent uncoupled leakage and all critical parts of the couplings are hardened for durability. It features ball locking mechanism to hold both mating parts together and the socket and plug are precision machined from solid bar stock. This series follows ISO 7241 and ISO 5675 standards and is interchangeable with Parker, Stucchi, Faster, DNP, Holmbury, etc.

The couplings are available from ¼ inch to 2 inch sizes with standard seal material BUNA. All couplings withstand four times the working pressure as Burst pressure.

Flat face couplings
Flat face design couplings are available as push to connect, threaded or screw in. They eliminate any cavities where fluid or air can rest, thus removing the chance of trapped air pressure and leakage. Flat face couplings provide high flow and low pressure drop and their special sleeve locking arrangement minimises the accidental disconnection, thus removing leakage and spillage risks. They have least spillage while connecting and disconnecting and are easy to clean for dirt.

Special customised flat faces are available for special applications. All Flat face couplings are protected with Zinc Nickel plating with over 1100 hours salt spray resistance and strong against flying rock chips.
