Hyve India’s prestigious three-day industrial show, which took place from September 27 to 29, 2024, in Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi, ended on a high note. As India’s largest trade event dedicated to the metal, machinery, manufacturing, and maintenance industries, the expo attracted over 12,000 trade visitors and featured 270 major exhibitors from more than five nations. This ground-breaking event was made possible by the backing of major ministries, trade associations, and the World Metal Forum (WMF), solidifying its position as a central hub for industry innovation and collaboration.

The event was opened by Chief Guest Sh. Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, Hon’ble Minister of State for Steel, Government of India, spoke to the audience and emphasised the government’s aim for the growth and development of the steel sector. His presence, along with that of other distinguished guests, established a classy tone for the occasion, which began with a lavish inauguration ceremony and ribbon-cutting.

The exposition, which included four major expos—MMMM Expo, HTF Expo, CWE Expo, IMEX, and UMEX—provided guests with a unique opportunity to learn about cutting-edge technology, network with industry professionals, and take part in knowledge-based seminars. The worldwide seminar “Green Steel Production: Sustainable Practices and Carbon Reduction,” organised by Metalogic and WMF, was a standout event, emphasising the growing relevance of sustainability in the metal production process. In addition, the Indian Institute of Metals – Delhi Chapter organised an international conference on “Process & Product Innovations in Metal Production,” which drew a large number of participants.

The highly anticipated business meet “Latest Technology for Manufacturing and Maintenance Industries,” powered by WMF, added to the event’s richness, with Dr G Satheesh Reddy, President of the Aeronautical Society of India and former Chairman of DRDO, serving as Guest of Honour. His informative keynote talk on upcoming industry trends offered significant value to the conversation.

Olympian Manu Bhaker made the evening even more memorable by attending an exclusive product launch for one of the business associates, bringing celebrity to the exhibition’s diverse activities. Both exhibitors and visitors have expressed overwhelming positive sentiments, with networking possibilities creating relationships that promise to alter the industry’s future direction.

As we look ahead to future events, the success of this exhibition highlights the value of collaboration and innovation in propelling the industry forward. We appreciate all exhibitors, lecturers, and spectators’ enthusiastic engagement and enthusiasm throughout the event.
