Deepak Saini Sales Marketing & Business Development, Indo-Maksson. In an interview with B2B Purchase.
What are the products and technologies you are planning to display at Excon?
We are looking to showcase our entire range of rubber hoses catering to hydraulic and industrial hoses. Further to this, we will be displaying low-pressure industrial hoses that are extremely important across industries such as oil, gas, energy, steel, food, chemicals, aviation, and railways; in addition to a complete range of high pressure hydraulic hoses focused on earthmoving equipment, automobiles, and their spare parts.
What are the key features of your products and solutions that make them smarter and greener?
The Indo-Maksson products are designed, engineered and devised through their respective application studies, where the application engineers collaborate with the designing team to build these hoses as per their specified requirements. As a result, the hoses developed are lighter, stronger, and provide the longest life!
The QR codes on the hoses provide the technical specifications at a quick scan at any stage or life cycle of the hose.
Please share what makes your products the most preferred in the segment.
The Indo-Maksson hoses are developed using the highest quality of raw material, under critical most process control environment ensuring that every metre of hose made is identical in terms of respective specifications, dimensions, and prescribed/desired quality standards. For more than 30 years, Indo-Maksson users have gotten the constantly developing quality and long life of hoses.
Tell us about the most recent technologies and solutions you’ve implemented. How is your organisation responding to the changing client requirements?
Technology and manufacturing go hand in hand, and we at Indo-Maksson always focus on research and development to develop newer solutions and stronger products. We have used technologies to enhance in-house testing and simulation practices which enable us to validate new products and improve old products. The in-house lab is capable of providing all the needed test certificates for customers and large organisations to be quality assured.
Looking at the market opportunities and the push towards infrastructural development, what plans do you have to encash the opportunities?
Indo-Maksson believed in the Make in India initiative to the core and saw immense opportunities in India as the biggest developing economy. The growing development in the country enables us to add more and more production capacity on a regular basis. We proudly claim a 60 lakh metre annual production capacity with new capacity in the pipeline to expand exports.
What are your projections for the construction and mining equipment in India? Construction equipment is an industry that is only going to expand with the upcoming development projects in our country with the new roadways, railways, and other new transportation connectivity programmes and plans. India is now positioned as the global supplier of various metals and minerals. Currently, domestic production is struggling and has resulted in uncompetitive prices in the global market. Hence, there is an immense opportunity to expand production in the mining sector.
