Why do you feel that there is a need to get more usage of IT in the construction and mining sector?
Information technology helps implementing company processes across locations, bring efficiency through workflow, resource collaboration etc. It also helps remote management, asset, Inventory and knowledge management. Today, with the disruption in technology (Mobility, IoT, VR/AR, RFID), it becomes easier for companies to implement processes, with greater degree of connectivity and acceptability by users due to ease of usage and availability, providing several advantages to the companies on decision making, the real time data acquired provides strong analytics of how business is run in future with informed decision making with accurate data.
How is the market status now?
The market is ripe to look into efficiency through new age IT systems, in a fast changing environment, with high competition due to multiple players providing choices to customers. Are you looking at restructuring your business?
Structurally, there is not much of a difference. However, we are expanding with near-shore, onsite presence so that we can address our customer needs immediately. We are expanding in NCR, Chennai and Pune apart from head office at Bengaluru. Internationally, we are in USA and servicing our customers in Middle East, Europe and Australia through partners.
Is there any potential acquisition in mind?
No acquisitions as such but there can be collaborations and partnerships. There can be complementary technology that will need partnership or interfaces with other companies so that customers get comprehensive solutions.
