Innovative Coating Industries introduces MIDAZ Touch range of aluminium anti-corrosives. MIDAZ Touch range of paints has a highest anti -corrosion for all mild steel and galvanized steel fabrications located in marine, saline and highly corrosive atmospheres.

Innovative Coating Industries has plants at Pune and Thane. It offers Midaz Touch brand of aluminium paints which are excellent, extremely quick drying, and high gloss paints. Based on quick air drying acrylic modified resins, the paints offer ultimate corrosion resistance to all such fabricated structures located in marine, salty and very corrosive atmospheric conditions.

Due to horizontal packing of the aluminium flakes, the coating substantially increases the anti corrosion properties of the coated surface. Surface to be coated shall be free from oil, grease, dust, dirt, rust & other foreign matters. The acrylic resin film from this paint makes the dry film highly water repellent, in addition to the highly passive aluminium flakes coating.

All MS fabrications in the proximity of sea shore, saline atmospheres, steel structures exhaust pipes. Fabrications near coastal areas, chemical and petro chemical plants, off shore platforms and rigs constructions, steel manufacturing paper, pharmaceutical, cement, fertilizers, pesticide and insecticides plants and all such fabrications in highly corrosive locations.

In order to prepare the surface, the surface to be coated shall be sand, grit blasted, sand-papered for getting best results. This will vary substantially improve adhesion to the
base metal and hence will enhance anti- corrosion.
Aluminium paints are mainly used for getting a high level of gloss, aesthetics with the highest degree of corrosion protection applications. The paint offers a very tough bright coating and will touch dry within five to ten minutes and will leave a very uniform aluminium metal powder coating on the coated substrate. Aluminium metal being fairly passive to atmospheric oxidation prevents rusting of iron metal. Polymerized acrylic film offers highest degree of water repellence, thus eliminating the basic root-cause of rusting.

Over-coating, if necessary, may be done after 8 hrs. One litre of aluminium paint  will give approx 10 square metre coverage and will deposit 18–22 microns coating with a single coat spray or dip as per our laboratory tests, the coated surface passes 500 Hrs Fog chamber salt spray test and has excellent adhesion, scratch resistance and anti corrosion properties.

Midaz Touch Aluminium paint is an acrylic based paint available in ex-stock Chinchwad, Pune works in 4 litre tin packing available at ` 210 per litre and in 20 litre drum pack at ` 205 per litre at 12.5 per cent VAT. 500 ml Aerosol Self Spray can costs  ` 225 per can.

Midaz  Touch 600 0C HR Aluminium  Paint is a modified epoxy based paint is available ex stock Chinchwad, Pune works in 4 Litre tin packing at ` 450 per litre and in 20 Litre drum packing at ` 440 per litre excluding 12.5 % VAT. 500 ml Aerosol Self spray can is available at ` 410 per Can.  n
