Inpod case study: Hydac new factory office at Bhivandi
Hydac, a Thane-based German multinational specialising in hydraulics chose inpod over other options to construct approximately a 2,000-ft office for their new location at Bhivandi, on Mumbai-Nasik highway.

The client wanted a world-class office space, designed to accommodate any future expansion to their office without any disruption to their activities.  The project was commissioned June 2013 and delivered by mid-August. Inpod delivered a pod based fully finished and operational office including modular office furniture compatible with the inpod layout.  

The entire office was constructed using sixteen inpod modules arranged to achieve efficient office layout. The design was done in-house and inpod was able to create a courtyard like space to facilitate random encounters between employees and aimed at starting spontaneous conversations about work which tend to be starting points for innovation. This gave rise to a class A office space experience. After successful completion of this project, Hydac has decided on inpod to further expand their Bhivandi facility by adding five additional pods.
