The brand “Hercules” of Ishar Hoist & Cranes Pvt. Ltd. was founded by the company’s Chairman Ved Prakash Chawla in the year 1982. What started off with just an idea to manufacture chain pulley blocks in India, turned to reality with setting up their first manufacturing unit in Mumbai. When his son, Sanjeev Chawla joined the business, the company started manufacturing cranes and hoists, giving a tremendous boost to the business.

Armed with a degree in Marketing, Hemanshu Chawla joined the business in 2012, with fresh ideas to expand the business further. At present, the product range has more than 25 products, most of which are customised for their clients based across the globe.  Today Ishar has a successful team working towards understanding the growth of industries globally and is trying to make innovative customised solutions for every industry independently. “As a part of the growth strategy, Ishar has planned to start offices and plants across India, the most recent one started in Vikhroli, Mumbai this November,” said Hemanshu Chawla, GM (Marketing) of the company.

Products, solutions and USP
Ishar has been dealing in various material handling equipment and project supplies like chain pulley blocks, electric wire rope hoists, electric chain hoist, jib cranes, gantry cranes and EOT cranes. Elaborating the company’s USP Hemanshu said, “Our USP is that we are a One-stop solution for all our client’s material handling needs. Our products are sturdy, reliable, user friendly and easy to maintain. The quality of all our products is promising making sure we use the latest technology and guarantee outstanding performance of every machine.”

He further claimed, “We’re more than known for the durability of our machines. Machines manufactured by us go as long as 13 years without any major maintenance required and for which our clients have awarded us with performance certificates.”

New product in pipelineIshar plans to launch comparatively smaller capacity cranes to cater high market demand. “We are going to introduce a couple of new products soon including a crane for 250-kg capacity to cater to our small scale industrial customers. These cranes will be very compact in size and robust in nature,” announces Hemanshu.
