JK Tyre announces the release of three new tyres at bauma Conexpo 2023, further solidifying its position in the off-the-road (OTR) tyre market.
Three new Off-the-Road tyres (OTR) were introduced by JK Tyre, one of the nation’s top tyre manufacturers, today at the bauma Conexpo 2023. This move continues the company’s commitment to leading innovation across segments in the Indian tyre business. The most recent additions to its current product line-up are the new offers, which include the 26.5-25 Loader Champ 28PR E4/L4 TL, 23X8.50-12 JET TRAX ULTIMA 6PR TL, and 23X5.7-12 JET TRAX SUPER II 4PR TL.
Leaders in the ultra-large OTR tyre market, the business invented India’s largest tyre size, the 40.00-57, which has a 12 foot diameter and weighs about 3400 kg. By entering the largest off-the-road tyre, the VEM 045, which is 12 feet in height and weighs almost 3.4 tonnes, in the prestigious Limca Book of Records, the company has also accomplished a spectacular feat. The business provides a wide variety of durable products to meet the various needs of industrial and mining applications.
Mr. Anuj Kathuria, President (India), JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., spoke at the occasion and remarked, “JK Tyre has been at the helm of introducing several cutting-edge and technologically advanced products. Our strong position in the Off-the-Road tyre segment resonates with our commitment to innovation and to make products that maximise performance and durability even on the most challenging Indian terrains. We are sure the three new tyres are category-defining breakthrough products, which will further strengthen our position in the OTR tyre market.”
The 26.5-25 Loader Champ 28PR E4/L4 TL is a high-end, heavy-duty product made for articulated dumpers and wheel loaders. It has a high depth tread with a specially created tread pattern that provides excellent traction, mileage, and cut resistance under demanding mining work conditions.
In addition to the previously mentioned varieties, two new skid steer loader tyre varieties, 23X8.50-12 JET TRAX ULTIMA and 23X5.7-12 JET TRAX SUPER II, were also introduced. The tyres are intended for use on construction vehicles used for “Non-Highway services (NHS)” such as material handling equipment. The tyres’ SILICA-based tread compound offers higher resistance to wear and tear. Furthermore, the tyres feature a strong, wide wall and rim guard design that provides increased resistance to external harm and better defence against wheel damage in the rim flange area.
