Safety systems in placeLiebherr’s cranes are equipped with latest safety system called LICCON 2 which prevents the crane from getting over loaded. It also displays the main parameters like load, capacity, operating radius, height under boom, wind speed, levelling, ground pressure etc. It is also fitted with a camera to give views of winches and also rear of crane. In case of any hose rupture, the operation stops. Further limit switches are provided to restrict hook raising and lowering beyond limit and all places at height are provided with hand railing. The boom has safety latches so that during maintenance the service person can attach it to avoid falling from heights.
Recent LaunchLiebherr has launched 3,000 ton capacity crawler crane with lattice boom Model LR 13000, 750 ton capacity all terrain crane Model LTM 1750-9, 1 and 220 ton capacity crawler crane with telescopic boom Model LTR 1220.
