What are the key features of your latest wheel loader models, and how do they contribute to performance and efficiency?
We have consistently focused on integrating cutting-edge features into our wheel loaders to maintain and enhance our reputation for reliability and durability. Our latest models come equipped with several standard features, including fuel-efficient engines, ECO mode operation, automatic engine stop, OptiShift technology, automatic powershift (APS), load-sensing hydraulics, and a telematics system. These innovations are designed to optimise performance and efficiency. Additionally, we are proud to be the first construction equipment manufacturer to commercially introduce electric wheel loaders in India, with two models available: the 856HE and the 820T.
How does LiuGong integrate digital technologies to enhance environmental sustainability and operational efficiency in its equipment?
We are committed to addressing environmental concerns by incorporating the latest digital technologies in our equipment. These technologies optimise performance and reduce energy consumption by using sensors, GPS, and telematics to track real-time equipment usage, fuel consumption, engine performance, and maintenance needs. This allows equipment owners to identify inefficiencies and optimise performance. Furthermore, we have expanded into electric and battery-operated machines, which produce no emissions during operation and generate less noise pollution than traditional diesel-powered equipment.

Over the years, we have observed significant shifts in the demand for earthmoving equipment and have continuously adapted to meet these changing needs. Globally, we offer 32 types of equipment across various application, including construction, infrastructure, mining, and agriculture. We have been operational in India for the past 22 years and are proud to be the best-selling brand in wheel loaders. As a multi-product company, we aim to position ourselves among India’s top five construction equipment manufacturers.
What safety and comfort features are incorporated into your equipment to ensure operator well-being and ease of maintenance?
Ensuring the safety and comfort of operators, along with easy serviceability, is our top priority. Our equipment comes standard with air-conditioned cabins featuring Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) canopies. Falling Object Protective Structures (FOPS) are integrated to protect operators from falling objects in high-risk areas. To enhance visibility and reduce blind spots, our machines are equipped with optional rearview cameras and wide-angle mirrors. Seat belts are standard, and operator presence detection systems ensure the machine only operates when the operator is correctly seated with the seat belt fastened. We also provide anti-slip steps and sturdy handrails to prevent slips and falls when entering or exiting the cabin—optional advanced systems, such as GPS guidance, help operators maintain precision and safety during operation. Moreover, our machines are designed to minimise noise levels inside and outside the cabin, reducing operator fatigue and protecting hearing.

One primary way we are doing this is through the implementation of telematics systems in our machines. These systems provide real-time data on equipment performance and location, enabling fleet managers to monitor machine usage, operating hours, fuel consumption, and overall health. By collecting and analysing this data, operators can optimise the use of their equipment, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
Another significant advancement is our remote monitoring capabilities, which allow us to offer support and troubleshooting services without needing on-site visits. Operators and managers can access key performance metrics from anywhere, facilitating proactive decision-making. This feature is particularly useful in identifying potential issues before they become critical, thereby reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
We also employ predictive maintenance techniques to extend the lifespan of our machines. Using data analytics and machine learning algorithms, we can predict when maintenance is required based on machine performance and usage patterns. This approach shifts maintenance from reactive to proactive, enabling timely interventions and reducing unexpected breakdowns.
