Road markings are aids to control traffic by exercising psychological control over the road users. Road markings are important means of delineating the carriageway, to ensure safe driving. Asian Paints PPG offers a variety of road markings which include hot melt thermoplastic retro-reflective road marking, water-borne retroreflective marking, conventional water and solvent-based kerb marking, and coloured surfacing material. We develop products that provide safety and tune with environmental requirements. We offer an emerging class of products that are fast-drying and durable. Products can be applied on highways, city roads, runways, parking lots and commercial areas.

Our specially formulated conventional water-based and solvent-based APCOTRAK series are used as kerb markings on highways, city roads. This offers a solution that is compatible with various grades of climatic exposure conditions and application techniques. Our products meet the requirement of IS 164 specifications. This series includes APCOTRAK, APCOTRAK IS, APCOTRAK SB, APCOTRAK Glossy, APCOTRAK WBR and APCOGRIP WB Primer. APCOGRIP WB Primer is the specially designed conventional primer for concrete kerbs. APCOTRAK CS is the coloured surfacing material specially designed for cycle tracks, bus bay, walkways to offer excellent exterior durability, wear, and skid resistance. APCOTRAK and APCOTRAK WBR (waterborne retroreflective) series are extensively used on major privately managed airports in India and many AAI airports.

Durability is a very essential parameter for the road marking coating which can perform in an aggressive environment. Our specially designed hot melt thermoplastic road marking brands like APCOMARK and THERMOLINE are extensively used on major national highways and expressways. APCOMARK is the highly durable road marking that meets the requirement of MORTH 803.4 specification and THERMOLINE meets the requirement of BS 3262/ EN-1436 specification. APCOGRIP is a specially designed primer for the application of hot applied thermoplastic road marking material on the concrete surface. While these road markings cannot physically prevent the happening of a road mishap, they serve as a psychological barrier.
