Adding MB Crusher products exponentially enhances the utility of the base machine. No additional manpower, added machines and peripherals is required, says Piero Guizzetti, CEO, MB Crusher India.
What are the crushing and screening solutions offered by MB Crusher?
We have a product portfolio capable of trenching, cutting, crushing, screening and processing stones, rocks and organic matter. Our solutions are applicable and compatible with all makes and models of excavators and backhoe loaders. Adding MB Crusher products exponentially enhances the utility of the base machine. No additional manpower, added machines and peripherals is required.
What are some of the energy efficient features of your machines?
MB products do not require any sort of energy and/or additional fuel. Attached and operational on the base machine, they do not increase the fuel consumption of the excavator or backhoe loader.
Which are the key demand drivers of crushing and screening equipment?
Two of our important segments, crushing and screening, are very much driven by infrastructure development in its most general sense. And India is one of the world’s most exciting markets. Sectors like roads, railways, ports and urban transportation have seen a major chunk of government spending as public sector outlay is greater in these areas. Real estate has also been a boon with the private sector contributing significantly.
Furthermore, mining and quarrying is constantly recovering from the closing of most concessions a few years back. We are also seeing opportunities rise in that industry in a pocket of specific applications. We foresee the major demand drivers for crushing and screening machines as GSB requirements for roads, quarry operations for aggregate manufacturing, M-sand production, recycling and reusing demolished concrete materials, mining, among others.
Given the rising cost of fuel, what is your take on the future of hybrid solutions?
Anything that reduces operational costs, we believe is a positive across industries, especially, if it also has a combined benefit of being more environmentally friendly. At MB, we allocate a relatively large portion of our resources to R&D. Technology in energy-efficient solutions is fast developing, and its adaptability to more varied industries and processes therein. So, our take is that we will surely be at the forefront of the use of hybrid solutions as they find their suitability.
How the recent budget and policies are going to impact your industry in the coming years?
We were highly impressed with the scale of the most recent budget, as well as its clear vision and pragmatic underlying assumptions. The present government is heavily spending in the infrastructure sector. Throughout, the country is currently undergoing infrastructure upgradation process. This will further boost the demands for crushed and aggregate materials in the near future.
