In the present scenario of industries, it is seen that pollution norms are playing a vital role. To meet these set norms from pollution control board, MEC SHOT has accordingly designed its products and manufactured for different type of surface treatment on the required job before coating or painting. The company has come up with its surface treatment system – Preservation Line for the purpose.
Construction
MEC SHOT provides automatic inline blasting and painting solution for surface treatment system whereas the job is kept on the inward side of the roller conveyor.
The components pass through inward tunnel and enter into the blasting chamber for blasting purpose. Six blast wheel stations are located strategically around the cabinet fires abrasives on the job. The job gets shot blasted finished homogeneously all around to the required roughness value.
Actual operation
The blasted job travel in the semi down draft paint spray chamber for primer painting using suitable conventional, airless and electrostatic spray painting. The incoming ventilating air gets cleaned through inward filters and carries the spray mist in the paint trap filters.
The job then passes through paint booth on point contact roller conveyor, the reciprocating painting guns mounted on X manipulator will paint the plates from both sides. After primer painting the job off loading will take place automatically through cross transfer mechanism.
