Membrane technology:
Membrane technology is an effective and modern technology for the waste water treatment which makes possible both nano and ultra levels of microfiltration. This technology isolates effectively particles, colloids and macromolecules, so that waste-water can be effectively purified and made re-usable worth even for drinking purposes as well as for other industrial usages. Membrane processes includes microfiltration, ultra-micro filtration, nano filtration, reverse osmosis process, electrolysis process, dialysis process, electro dialysis process, gas separation process, vapor permeation process, membrane distillation and membrane contactors.

Membranes are very expensive and if one allows the contaminant water to come in direct contact with the membranes the membranes can get chocked abruptly. Hence to protect the membranes and enhance its life, users of membrane technology often install pre filter systems supporting the membranes in order to isolate to a large extent the macro suspended particles from the waste. Such solid particles membrane removal technology by means of mechanical separation is known as pre filtration process or polishing filtration. These contaminants are separated or retained by this filter system while passing through a medium very popularly known as filter media. Element and cartridge would be either cleaned or replaced as per one’s requirement.

Filter Concept analyses the application requirement and designs the economical mechanical filtration systems. At the pre engineering stage, system designing process involves process calculation, system design calculation, process chemical compatibility etc. At the post engineering stage, filter vessels are manufactured as followed by ASME, involving a structured QC process of a series of quality check points and testing.

Stainless steel cartridges
