Mining and Earthmoving equipment and technologies are projected to play a significant part in the country’s future infrastructure development. According to market sources, the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) programme entered its second year in FY21, with approximately 42 per cent of NIP projects currently under construction.

Coal India intends to produce 1 billion tonnes of coal by 2023-24. To cut coal imports and increase production, the government began a large-scale auction of coal blocks. All of this is likely to increase coal and iron ore mining in India in the future years, with larger capacity earthmoving equipment playing a role in this production expansion.

On this note, B2B Purchase, as a part of it’s procurement series organised an interactive session on “Mining and Earthmoving Revolution 2022” on 28th March 2022. Leading equipment manufacturers, rental experts, solution providers and consultants briefly discussed how the construction and infrastructure trends and advanced equipment, transformed the prospects of earthmoving and mining equipment.

Panel Speakers:
Mr. Manish Jhamb from Larsen & Toubro
Mr. Tarique Salman from Vermeer India
