Monitoring plant operations with Sprint’s SCADA systems

Can you brief us about your company and product range?

Sprint Consys Pvt Ltd is a construction machinery automation company that specialises in the automation of batching plants, asphalt batch mixing plants, crushers, self-loading transit mixers, and wheel loader on-board solutions. We integrate all products’ data into the cloud. We have been an authorised system integrator for PWD SCADA – Maharashtra for the last 5 years. We are the only company with a comprehensive support system that includes everything from products to a cloud management system. We were the first company to make a reversible drum mixer digitised in 2002. We have all weighing controllers, PLC and SCADA based systems developed by our own R & D team.

Can you go into more detail about the features and technologies of your products and technologies? 

With an intelligent and dedicated team, we provide creative solutions to customers. In our products, we use the latest microcontrollers and update our products every year with the latest features and user-friendly operation. Due to our trouble-free products, customers have trust in us. We have a wide range of our own weighing products like Genie V5, Genius-Application specific Batching controller, Simba SCADA, Tuskar SCADA. We use well-animated Siemens SCADA, which enables us to make immediate changes requested by our customers.

What are the areas of application of your products and technologies? 

We started supplying control panels only for concrete batching products and expanded into many verticals like Asphalt Batch Mix Automation, Crusher Plants, Sand Screening Plants, AAC Plants, Dry Mix Batching Plants, Bagging Machine Automation, PM Lift, CTM machines, Fly Ash Brick Machines, Rubber Batching Plant Automation, HVAC Plant Automation, Soft Clay Brick Automation. We have completed automation for the water bottling plant of OXYRICH. We have also done automation for a bio-gas separation plant in Bangkok. We wish to expand into other verticals in the coming year.

Can you also talk about your construction SCADA system for RMC and Asphalt Batch Mix? 

We have developed our own Dot net-based SCADA for batching plants, which produces 30 types of various MIS reports. The SCADA system is totally configurable as per the customers’ requirements. It has various control systems and access for operation. It can be operated and controlled by remote operation. Our SCADA system can be integrated with any SAP or inventory software of any organisation. We can provide batching details on customers’ websites, which enables them to integrate with their inventory system.

How do you evaluate the maintenance requirements of your automated products and solutions? 

All mechanical and moving products need maintenance and service. In the case of electronic products, it is highly reliable if you use the right source of components. We produce trouble free products that run for years together. All our products have a self-diagnostic system that helps customers identify the root cause of the problem. Our products are modular in design, so you can replace defective sections instead of the whole unit.

For service, we have a 24×7 online support system. Our well trained engineers are there to support you if trouble occurs in the field. More than 85 percent of complaints are solved over the phone by remotely accessing the system.

Which automated products do you offer in the construction and concrete segment? 

Little Sprint (LS series), Smartcon (SC-series), Genie V5 with 0-10 V output and 4-20mA output, Genius– Application specific Batching controller, Simba– PLC-HMI based system, Tuskar– Dot net SCADA, Stallion– for dry mix batching system, Alden with blind indicators are some of our concrete products.
