Pragyan 2025, NIT Trichy’s premier techno-managerial festival, returns with Panoptica: Break The Code, a series of seminars, debates, exhibitions, and infotainment that promotes innovation, creativity, and leadership on a large scale.

Pragyan is NIT Trichy’s annual International Techno-Managerial Fest. It is ISO 9001 and 20121 certified and hosts a variety of events, workshops, guest lectures, and more. Pragyan is gearing up for its 21st edition, which will be themed ‘Panoptica: Break The Code’.

Exhibitions, Sangam, Ingenium
Every year, Pragyan hosts an OpenHouse, a two-day event that aims to showcase projects created by students during their academic year. Students from various tech clubs and departments have the opportunity to present the salient features and problem-solving capabilities of their projects to faculty and investors, effectively helping their projects gain much-deserved attention and moving them one step closer to being implemented in a real-world scenario.

Ingenium is their national technological contest, attended by various aspiring minds, where they promote fresh concepts and creativity to bloom, resulting in larger inventions in a variety of disciplines connected to their society’s growth and progress.

Sangam is Pragyan’s flagship hardware hackathon, which provides a venue for NIT Trichy students to solve real-world problems on a grassroots level.

Events, Workshops, Guest Lectures and Debate
Pragyan hosts many activities organised into seven clusters across various industries like management, coding, hardware, robotics, and much more, all while keeping the highest standards of any festival held on such a huge scale.

Pragyan hosts a wide selection of workshops organised by organisations such as Linux, Samsung, Mercedes, and others. These workshops provide registrants with hands-on experience in an area of their choosing, preparing them for future endeavours in their respective domains.

They are also graced by the presence of a large number of industry leaders and revolutionaries who visit Pragyan to offer a piece of their life and experiences during guest lectures, encouraging and guiding the thousands of attendees with their thoughts and essential advice.

Crossfire, Pragyan’s flagship discussion, is one of the most anticipated events of the festival, which brings together notable political figures from across India at NIT Trichy to address issues of social and economic significance. They also bring in well-known and successful moderators to ensure that the most productive debates take place during the event.

Social Responsibility and Other Outreach Events
As part of Pragyan, students create outputs such as the Pragyan Blog and the Pragyan Podcast on Medium and Spotify, respectively, which serve as a transparent layer of communication between students and the world. Creativity and academic inclination are supported and nurtured in such forms of media, and Pragyan ensures that its voice reaches even the most remote corners of the world.

The Pragyan Social Responsibility team works to give back to all aspects of society by organising events such as Techids, which nurtures and supports young minds by conducting workshops from several Tech Clubs at NIT Trichy, giving them a glimpse of the limitless possibilities for their future.

Infotainment
Infotainment is Pragyan’s section in charge of student entertainment during the festival. They organise fire and light shows, aerial stunts, and the highly anticipated captivating professional shows, which are attended by the entire Pragyan student community. They instill a sense of culture and belonging while preserving the Pragyan atmosphere of techno-managerial celebration, which is an essential component of Pragyan as a festival of immense scale and importance.

Pragyan is a reflection of everything the student community stands for, of everything a college such as NIT Trichy supports in its practices of student enrichment and growth, and with its 21st Edition coming up, the bar is raised, yet every challenge will be addressed as Pragyan ’25 Panoptica: Break The Code is still only a few days away.
