NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has released NORDCON Windows 3.0, which improves drive administration with a customisable dashboard, context-sensitive support, and an upgraded oscilloscope. It complements the NORDCON mobile app for easy drive configuration.

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has published an updated Windows version of its parameterisation software. Version 3.0 of the NORDCON Windows program provides users with extra features to help them set up and manage their drives. A customised dashboard, a context-sensitive help function, and a revamped oscilloscope are included in the upgraded software package, which allows for application-specific control of NORD drive technology. The program is an excellent complement to the NORDCON mobile app, which is NORD’s parameterisation solution for smartphones and tablets. 

With its NORDCON Windows and NORDCON mobile apps, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS provides an easy cockpit for configuring the company’s electronic drive technology. With new NORDCON Windows app edition, the system supplier of drive solutions has consolidated the user interface of its Windows and mobile parameterisation apps. Customisable dashboard 

The NORDCON Windows client now includes a configurable dashboard, as does the NORDCON mobile app. This enables the presentation of drive data and monitoring to be tailored to the specific application and shown in real time. The available options include text display, progress bar, and trend visualisation.

Context-sensitive help function 

The context-sensitive assistance function allows users to retrieve information straight from the current work area about the activity being performed. This makes it easy to comprehend the settings and tasks without having to leave the workspace or consult instructions.

Revised oscilloscope 

The oscilloscope function can be set up independently. Measurement values can be shown graphically and exported for further study. The stored mathematical formulas allow for speedy calculation and evaluation of all important drive data.

NORDCON Windows and mobile apps as an end-to-end solution

The NORDCON Windows app is an excellent addition to the NORDCON mobile app. It allows for ⅓ wireless 1:1 connection to an electronic driving system. The connection is created using the NORDAC ACCESS BT Bluetooth stick, which is briefly connected to the frequency inverter.
