Exhibiting new innovations at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018, Propel Industries Pvt Ltd has robust plans for the next year. Having pumped in ` 2,000 crore this year, the company is looking at investing ` 1,000 crore in 2019-2020, according to V Senthil Kumar, Managing Director, Propel Industries Pvt Ltd.

Brief us about the products you’re exhibiting at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018?
We have launched some products -Pro Frost (PRO FAST secondary Mobile Crusher) where wheel plant can be erected within 15 days and will be useful for road projects. We have also launched a washing system for M Sand model called Eco Wash Dual sand which can give two products – plaster sand and manufacturing sand.

How was 2018 for your business in terms of performance, product wise?
We are growing almost at around 35 per cent now. Last year, we had very good growth around 40 per cent we grew. We have product range up to 600 tonnes per hour, earlier we used to have up to 300 to 400 tonnes per hour and now we have launched up to 600 tonnes per hour.

What are your business prospects for 2019?
We are expecting another 10 per cent of our revenue from exports that was started three-four years back and aim to increase it from this year onwards. We started exports three-four years back and we are doing well till date. The company has also made capital investment of up to ₹2,000 crore and this year, it will be doing around ₹650-crore. Additionally, we are planning for ₹1,000 crore investment for 2019-2020.

How do you look at aggregates growth in India?
With infrastructure projects coming in and real estate also slowly picking up, aggregates are growing well in India. This is also
on the back of commercial sector that is looking up.

What impacts the pace of road construction in India?
It is mainly government investment and normal budget tender. Additionally, on-time projects are the biggest driver for the infrastructure industry. Our focus is more on North India which earlier was on South India. While there are warehouses in Pune, Delhi and other areas, we would now like to do well in North with assembly facilities.

Are you bringing any other machines or equipment?
We have launched many new products – Jaw crusher– 250 TPH, Cone crusher – 350 tph, and Vsi 300 tph.

The company has also launched almost six products in Track (Mobile Series), which has onboard dual power completely electrical and hydraulic system. Here the customer can easily swap EB power source without switching off the engine, and this paves the way for high productivity without any interruptions.

Expect 10 per cent more revenue from exports.
