Plans to add one more big-size versatile machine PPM3500 in its segment and grab international opportunities at bC India 2018.

Having vast experience of more than 20 years in precast concrete product and have full-fledged in-house manufacturing facility, Pakona Engineers plans to add one more big-size versatile machine in its product segment this year i.e. PPM3500, says Ashok Kothari, CMD, Pakona Engineers. This will enable to cast pipe up to 3500mm and bigger size Box Culvert 3000mm x 3000mm to cater all segments of infrastructure needs.

What can we expect from you at bauma CONEXPO India this edition?
Looking at the present market scenario and developments in India, growth in infrastructure projects like road, smart cities and national highway is tremendous. The company is adding one more big-size versatile machine in its product segment i.e. PPM3500 this year. We are also planning to expand our business in nearby Asian countries. During this show, we will be keeping our eyes open to grab opportunities in international market as well.

Are any new products or innovations going to be unveiled?
Pakona is going to launch new model PPM3500 which will able to cast pipe up to 3500mm and bigger size Box Culvert 3000mm x 3000mm to cater all segments of infrastructure needs. Pakona is having the complete range of machines to cater from 300-mm pipes to 3,500-mm pipes and Box culverts from 450mm x 450mm to 3000mm x 3000mm. Apart from pipes and box culvert, our machine can manufacture manholes that have tremendous demand in market due to smart city projects, sewerage pipes and urbanisation. U drain and cable ducts can also be manufactured on our machine.

What will encourage your customers to prefer your equipment while buying?
The company has vast experience of over 20 years in precast concrete product and have full-fledged in-house manufacturing facility in Vadodara. At our Savli factory, we manufacture complete range of Fully & Semi Automatic Vertical Cast Pipe Machine, Moulds, Batching & Mixing plant. Pakona has market presence across India and overseas. We have supplied over 50 machines from our Vadodara factory.

We are more focused and customer-friendly. We are proud to have dedicated service support team with well-trained technical expertise and full-fledge spare parts depot. We are getting repeated orders from our existing customers due to our Unique Technology, machine quality and excellent after sales support. Prestigious end user customers viz. NHAI, NBCC, DMIC, AMARAVATHI (A.P) ….. etc. are using products manufactured from our machine.

How favourable are present market conditions for the segment?
Presently, given the government’s liberal policy to infrastructure development, we are optimistic towards the growth of precast concrete equipment machinery in future.
