The Excon this year was significant for being one of the largest in the previous two years. Even though the event display was impeded by bad weather, Proman Infrastructure attracted many visitors during the five-day exhibition. R.S. Raghavan, Managing Director, Proman Infrastructure, offered a brief walk-through of their Crushing & Screening products, which included the whole range of turnkey solutions for the construction and infrastructure market while highlighting the products displayed during the event.

Product and technology development at PROMAN

 Proman has been working hard to upgrade many existing crushing plants so that they can meet the demand for infrastructure projects in their area.Other than this, we are also working on new greenfield plants where we are offering total turnkey solutions. We ensure we are a comprehensive solutions provider to those customers that already have existing machinery and do value addition to achieve higher profitability.

The adoption and implementation of new technologies are never-ending processes. Proman has always believed in implementing new and innovative technologies in our product line by automating them for a better customer experience. We also improvised and launched the dry classification system. There are several classifiers and wash plants on the market. So, the dry classifier saves energy for two products that have gotten a lot of attention. We’ve already received several orders. 

Challenges in meeting the aggregate demand

 The most challenging aspect right now is the cost. The cost of raw materials is going up. So, we’re figuring out ways to keep our customers pleased. We must constantly reinvent ourselves because our clients have high expectations for our service. 

The demand for crushing, screening, and sand is enormous. Companies that can provide effective solutions to match their required quality of aggregates and m-sand will have an advantage as more infrastructure projects will improve their quality. Presently, we are experimenting with metal recycling and construction and demolition waste. We have a dedicated team who are already working on it. The end product of this recycled material will be viable for industries and the government. 

PROMAN’s futuristic innovations

 We have a diverse range of crushing and screening equipment, especially for manufactured sand. We are always looking for ways to improve the efficiency and flexibility of our machines, and this will be a never ending activity.

 Dry mix mortar is another area with a lot of potential. We have established a few plants in India, and I envision potential business prospects for this product. The dry classifier is another new technology that has the potential to save energy and water while producing high-quality manufactured sand.

 In the research and development, we will continue collaborating with our partners to upgrade our existing machines. We are also working on newer verticals that will eventually lead to a circular economy in which we recycle and reuse construction materials.
